Dear Fellow Lions, The 2008 convention is an ideal time to share past accomplishments with Lions we would not ordinarily meet, as we continue our universal commitment of serving the needs of our community in the year ahead. It is also a unique opportunity to get together and discuss our ideas in response to President Amarasuriya's "Challenge to Change."
The Brandel 2008 Campaign Committee is pleased to announce that it has selected Ultramar Travel Management, as their preferred vendor for airline travel arrangements to the 2008 Lions Clubs International Convention in Bangkok, Thailand. Many of you have asked about how to book the pre & post Bangkok Convention tours we have been discussing. Well I'm pleased to say that a dedicated website is now available through our contacts in Thailand at www.tcot-thailand.com. After accessing this website, simply click on any of the "more" hyperlinks, and you will be presented with a variety of interesting tour options. Further, click on the tour option of your choice, and a detailed itinerary will be displayed. Within this itinerary view you will find prices for early bird discounts, and a email address pea@tcot.net to book your tour and/or to have any of your questions answered. You may also want to note that there are some great day tours listed on www.tcot-thailand.com, along with activation of the online booking feature which the Brandel 2008 committee requested.
