The Brandel 2008 Campaign Committee is pleased to announce that it has selected Ultramar Travel Management, as their preferred vendor for airline travel arrangements to the 2008 Lions Clubs International Convention in Bangkok, Thailand.

As we all start planning our trip to Bangkok to attend the inauguration of Al Brandel as Lions Club International President, we wanted to share some pertinent and helpful information. The Brandel 2008 Campaign Committee has arranged with Ultramar Travel an easy way for you to make your travel plans. To help you make your travel decisions, Ultramar Travel Management has prepared a listing of the most up-to-date airline flights and connections to Bangkok from US major international airports. Click here to download this file. If your home city is not listed here, Ultramar Travel Management will assist you in determining the best connecting flights out of your home airport.

Special Negotiated Pricing
The Brandel 2008 Campaign Committee has negotiated a reduced fee of $35 per ticket through Ultramar Travel Management for this program. Please note Ultramar Travel Management will not issue any airline tickets without payment by credit card and fares are not guaranteed until ticketed.

Visa and Passport Requirements
U.S. citizens do not require a visa to enter Thailand if their intended stay is less the 30 days. However, a US passport with validity extending at least six months from your return date is mandatory.

Convention Registration and Housing
Please note that all Lions are required to register for the 2008 Lions Clubs International Convention through the LCI Convention Registration and Housing Department. Register online at http://www.lionsclubs.org/EN/content/news_conv_register.shtml or complete the enclosed Registration Form and send to the Convention Registration registration@lionsclubs.org or via fax 630- 706-9140.
